I am pretty sure you noticed the outage (though, I did not since I was sleeping at that time 🛌)

In October, Google disabled this feature but in December, they made us a nice Christmas gift by re-enabling it 🎁🤗 the tool was down for 69 days.

I know that many of you have been missing it. On my side, I have barely noticed that it was diabled 🙈😆

BTW Google keeps making its tools more convenient for webmasters.

Google Integrates Web Vitals HUD Into The Chrome Browser

Apparently, in a recent update to the Canary channel of Chrome and Chrome OS, Google looks to bring the heads-up display (HUD) of Core Web Vitals directly into the Chrome browser.

Making sure your Core Web Vitals are on point is becoming more and more important.

as of May 2021, Google will begin using the Core Web Vitals as part of its search engine ranking algorithm

It’s great to see that Chrome browser will allow us to measure them 👍 While we are waiting for this feature, you can install this extension.
