First of all, Happy Independence Day to the ones who's in the US! Second of all, here is my income report for June 2016 :) In this blog, I write…
June 2017 Income Report: Almost Bought a Website, Investing In Learning, Moving
In this blog, I write about what I am doing to create various income streams that come from online endeavors. The monthly income reports detail my results.
Why am I sharing my income publicly? I hope to gain trustworthiness with you and to keep some degree of accountability for myself.
The reports motivate me. I tend to forget my small achievements… and reports like this one won’t let me do it 🙂 Apart from that, they help me to remember how much I have already invested. It’s a motivation to push even harder!
Read on June 2017 Income Report, which is my income report #22.
What Happened In June
This will be probably the shortest income report I have written so far… recently I have been quite busy with my life!
As I already mentioned before, in June, we moved to a new place. Because of the moving, I spent a half of the June packing boxes. The time I had to work on my second job (as Sam, my boyfriend, jokingly calls my website business) was very limited.
For this report, I had only half a day (yesterday) to write it while usually, I do it over a course of two days. So, I will cover the basics without going too much into details.
Following the plans of expanding my business
I almost bought a SaaS business at the end of June 😱 😱 😱
It was a Saas thingy in a social media market sold through FEInternational. I had some doubts about the business idea plus the timing now is not ideal to get my hands even more full (more on this in July) so I did a low-ball offer and of course, I did not get the business.
I managed to obtain a lot of info about Saas business model while studying this particular one. In the future, it will be easier for me to estimate other Saas businesses.
Investing in learning
In June, I cooperated with one of the fellow niche website webmasters who lives in (near) Montreal. He bought one of the most expensive and extensive niche website courses available and offered me an access for the half of the price.
You have probably guessed what course I am talking about 🙂 (if not, ping me by email)
It seems the course is worth the price. I am excited to dive into it in July!
Kickfurther
In June, I did not back up any purchase order and none of the open orders paid back in full in June. A few contracts paid a bit, though.
If you do not know what Kickfurther is, you can read about it here.
Moving to a new place
Internet is life
Last year, I had also moved and back then, I did not have the internet for two weeks. This time, it went much smoother and the service interruption only lasted for 2 days. Pheeeuuu!
One out of these 2 days was spent on putting the internet cable from the entrance to the other end of the apt, into a room we dedicated for an office. A poor guy from my internet company had to come twice to complete the job. He used probably 30-40 meters of the cable and about total 3 hours of manually attaching it to the wall.
Now we have an excellent internet +wifi signal in the office and the kitchen and a poor one in the rest of the house 😂😂😂
Some photos
Almost done emptying the old apt!
Moved! Our new kitchen and a tenth of the boxes to unpack!
Now officially moved! Celebrating by drinking a sparkling blueberry wine given us by our new landlord (either the guy is very nice or the apt has a horrible flaw we do not know yet about!)
Ok, now let’s go back to the business!
Expenses
In June, the expenses were high due to paying for the half of the online curse. At the same time, I worked with freelance writers and a VA for only a half of the month due to me being busy with the moving.
Here, I also paid for 1 month of the Saas business I was considering to acquire. It is under E-marketing tools section.

July 2017 Plans
The main leitmotiv of July will be learning. I plan to dive into the course I bought as much as I can do and start improving my processes.
I will be applying the learning to both Elephant 🐘 Website and Horse 🐎 Website. I read some lessons already and can see the websites benefit from different parts of the course. Exciting! 🤤🤤🤤
And of course, in July, I will try to write about my experience in the blog! Since I am not sure when I will post the next post… stay tuned by subscribing to my emails!
