September 2017 Income Report: My Business is 2 Years Old 🎉💪🎉, Learning Continues, Short Blog Update
In this blog, I write about what I am doing to create various income streams that come from online endeavors.
The monthly income reports detail my results. Why am I sharing my income publicly? I hope to gain trustworthiness with you and to keep some degree of accountability for myself.
The reports also motivate me.
I tend to forget my small achievements… and posts like this one won’t let me do it 🙂 Apart from that, they help me to remember how much I have already invested. It’s a motivation to push even harder!

What Happened In September
September was a good month with earnings slightly lower and spendings a bit higher than in August. It’s interesting to note that the earnings a year ago, in September 2016, were pretty much the same as this month.
Let’s take a closer look.
My Business (And Blog) is 2 Years Old
My business got launched in September 2015 when I started this blog to describe my experience of making money online. Or Living Off Cloud. The first post was published on September 14, 2015. Thus, my blog hence my business is already 2 years old! Happy anniversary to me! 🎉🎉🎉
So, where am I today? How much have I achieved out of the things I planned?
Not much hehehe 😀
Here is the chart showing the projected income vs the real income per a website. As you can see, only one website of mine, Horse 🐎 Website, performed as projected. The others felt short on the revenue.

Since doing a full analysis of how different the reality was from the plans is out of the scope of this report, I will write a detailed post about it. I will analyze the past year and outline the plans for the next year. Check back the next week!
Learning Continues 👩🎓
As you know, I bought a niche website course in June.
And currently, I am implementing the strategy it teaches on Elephant 🐘 Website. As a result, the website has got 5 new articles containing about 9,600 words in total. All this I wrote myself and I also created the graphics.
The next step that I have been working on is to resume outsourcing. I plan to hire at least one writer 👨💻 and a designer 👩🎨
I know, I know…
I have been talking about it for at least two months… have not done it yet…
Well, at least in September, I have started preparing briefs for writers. Currently, my backlog contains 7 briefs that are ready to be handed over to a freelancer. Plus a job description. Looks like hiring will definitely happen in October!
Apart from that, I got an account on ActiveCampaign and set up an email collection with a goal to do email marketing. A welcome sequence automation has been launched and it was one of the best things that happened to me in September 🙂 It feels sooo goood to have something running and doing stuff in the background without my efforts.
I am also working on automating email outreach 📧📧📧 through GMass.
The first outreach did not go smooth… I made a few mistakes sending emails to wrong people 😂😂😂 then, I had to double and triple check everything and to send apologies… it is another whole thing to think about how to organize the outreach efficiently. Automation definitely will be a huge help here.
A Short Blog Update
I do not spend any time promoting my LOC blog…
And that’s why it is even more pleasant to receive emails about collaborations and interviews.
In September, I got contacted by Siimon from www.entrepreneurdecoded.com about a possibility to do an interview. I happily said yes! If everything goes well and I submit my answers in 2 weeks, my interview will be published in October. I will write about it in my next income report.
Kickfurther
In September, I did not back up any purchase order. Just a few long-time-ago-started contracts paid a bit. If you do not know what Kickfurther is, you can read about it here.

In September, the expenses were quite low but higher than in August. My Bluehost hosting got renewed and I also renewed 2 PBN domains. I also got an account with ActiveCampaign to do email marketing for Elephant 🐘 Website.

Income
The high season for Elephant 🐘 Website and its family is finishing so the income level has been dropping. However, September revenue stayed pretty much equal to the August level.

October 2017 Plans
In October, I plan to continue going with the course and finally hire freelancers to create content for Elephant 🐘 Website. Also, I plan to resume guest posting. Apart from that, I will write a post with the annual summary for my business and give an interview to www.entrepreneurdecoded.com. It will be a busy month!
Also, in October, I will try to continue writing about my money-making experience in the blog. Since I am not sure my posting schedule…
