Why I’m Stopping at 15 Pins a Day 🤔 (And How It’s Going So Far)

This is a newsletter I sent to my subscribers last week. I publish the newsletters on my website; however, I edit out some information from the public versions.

🔄 Recap: My Pin Plan in Action

In the last newsletter, I shared my pinning plan for repurposing the 🐮 Cow website.

Today, I’ll show you how it’s going — and explain why I plan to stop at 15 pins per day.

🎞️ My New Podcast Episode is Out!

I just released a fresh episode of my YouTube newsletter podcast with this newsletter.

If you prefer listening or watching over reading (or want to catch up while on the go), this podcast is perfect for you!

Give it a watch and let me know what you think!

🛑 Why Stop at 15 Pins a Day?

It’s not because Pinterest limits you there — the platform allows way more.

The real reason?

I create only 3 pins per post 😉

So 15 fresh pins a day means publishing 5 new posts daily 🤯

See why automation is a must?

Pinterest favors fresh pins and fresh URLs — so consistently adding new posts is key. At the moment, I am not sure I would be able to produce more than 35 new posts per week 😅

📈 How’s It Going So Far?

I started pinning on July 7th. Here are the stats:

Pins are getting impressions: ***edited out*** for the very first pin, and then, it’s 50-100 views each pin.
Moreover, on the very first day of starting pinning, I got my first outbound click from Pinterest!

But here’s the twist: that click wasn’t from the pin I posted that day 🤯

My existing Pinterest traffic discovered these new posts shortly after I published them (in late June) and started pinning images before I even began

Meanwhile, the very first pin I posted was the most successful in views, but then impressions started to drop.

Why?

I’ll explain that in my next newsletter.

🧰 Tool of the Week: PinnerAnalytics

For digging deep into my Pinterest stats, I use PinnerAnalytics — a powerful analytics tool created by Tony Hill, the same developer behind PinClicks, the keywording tool for Pinterest.

Unlike the official Pinterest Analytics, which is quite limited and shows data only for the last 6 months, PinnerAnalytics offers a much more comprehensive and value-packed experience.

It overcomes common shortcomings by providing detailed insights into your pin performance, letting you compare date ranges easily, tracking historical data beyond Pinterest’s default limits, and uncover hidden growth opportunities you might miss otherwise.

You can get 25% off any plan with my promo code Loc25OFF.

🎥 Worth Watching: Carly Campbell on Niche Pursuits

Carly Campbell, aka the Queen of Pinterest, sat down with Jared Bowman on the Niche Pursuits podcast.

She shares how she grew a new site to over 100,000 monthly views in just six months, her ad revenue journey, and key strategies like balancing seasonal and evergreen content, updating old posts, and navigating Pinterest’s latest algorithm changes.

If you want insider tips to drive traffic and monetize Pinterest effectively, this episode is a must-watch!

🔮 What’s Next?

In the next newsletter (that my newsletter subscribers have already received 😉), I’ll explain why my first pin behaved the way it did — and how Pinterest promotes and distributes pins.

🤔 Now, a question to you…

How do you handle pinning new content? Do you publish fresh posts regularly or focus on pinning existing ones? Hit reply and let me know!

Meanwhile, have a nice weekend ❤️

Nadya

P.S. Consistency is key on Pinterest — but understanding how pins get distributed can make all the difference. Stay tuned!
